I have £1.5something left. I bought bananas, creme fraiche and much needed handcream today.

Actually, I do have £5 which I haven't taken out of the bank yet... so I've got a maximum of £6 something... hopefully, I can leave the £5 in the bank!

    Hi All,

A 2nd nsd for me as I am still snowed in and the roads were far too icy for me to try and get out  I will HAVE to go to work tomorrow though :o

I did miss the preview screening of Doubt this evening which I'm gutted about but at least it means I didn't spend anything on the parking or chocolate (which I normally buy in the supermarket and take in with me ;))

  • Looks like there were lots of NSDs today. I managed one today so I am on a double NSD. Not sure if I can make it a triple tomorrow. I have already got my lunch sorted for tomorrow so shouldn't spend on that. Might go to cinema tomorrow so that might mean ice-cream we will see.

sazzledazzle I have added you to the first post.

Raychee bananas, creme fraiche and handcream, that sounds like my random shopping sometimes:rotfl:

Pookie-lou I must say I feel like that sometimes, it is such a novelty not spending, it means I think of different ways t do things so I don't have to spend.

Tixy  at th car expenses that I why I try and stay as far away from the garage as possible.

Hope every who had snow enjoyed it. All gone here.

Sounds like the budgeteers have been doing fabulously this week, keep up the good work chaps.

Ohhhh PP - if only you could see the state of my hands... they're sooo awful!
I leave handcream everywhere I go to regularly... the pub, one of my regular schools, my neighbour's house, my school stash bag, the lounge, the bathroom, the bedroom... One day I'll find one that gives me hands I'll be proud of! I also keep thinking that my hands have to look good... what OH surprises me with that elusive diamond ring one day??? (12 years, and still waiting!)

    Evening all!

Spent £4 in the pub - I'm so happy I live just down the road from a Mr WS! - so £16 left to last for the next three days - my determination seems to be holding up well this week - yay!

I'm off to bed now - a couple of drinks and I'm sleepy! When did I turn into a grown-up?

Wow, it seems the cold weather definately encourages NSDs. Well done everyone.

We only had a bit of snow yesterday. It's all gone now and it was a really sunny day today.

I've not even used any of my budget yet. The cold weather put me off, which was accompanied by our boiler's pilot light refusing to relight. We had no central heating or hot water for 2 days  It's thankfully fixed now.

Anyway, I'll be saving most of my budget for the weekend. I'll be paying for a travel lodge and I'm off for lunch and to see Benjamin Button at the flicks. I've not been to a cinema for ages so it'll be a bit of a treat :)

Hope everyone's having a good week.

    x
    Looking forward to the future.
  • Morning fellow budgeteers.:j

I am off for hopefully NSD 3 or else a low spend day and also for 3rd day walking to walk.

Have a good day everyone and keep those purse stings tight.

    Morning all!

Aiming for a NSD today - have to buy a nail file but that comes out of my grocery budget.

Everyone's doing soooo well this week - it's definitely the weather! I don't want chocolate enough to go out and buy it :p

Raychee - my hands are exactly the same! I'm rubbish at looking after them, but I don't think I need to worry about any potential bling:rotfl:

PP - What are you thinking of going to see? There are so many good films on right now!

    Have a fab day everyone!
