Still not spent any of my weekly challenge money. I'm hoping to have all £10 left as I'm visiting friends at the weekend and only have a budget of £30 and the extra tenner would certainly help.

Edit - Just realised from my signature I have £15 budgeted, thats an extra £15 not £10 to spend at the weekend.....A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Officially a NSD - could this be the first NSD week for me???
My friend cancelled the pub as it's cold! She lives a good fifteen minutes away from her busstop and was worried she would fall over due to ice/beer, will reschedule for after payday.
I was also going to go to the movies with t'other half but he's tired and doesn't want to. He has done the dishes and is currently making me dinner though, so woo to him :j
I am now on a quadruple NSD and am thinking of spending tomorrow as I don't know what it would be for five :rotfl:
*edit* I've also edited my public profile so it lists my occupation as "budgeteer" Hehehe.0 -
Evening!
Flying_fresian - you're flying! Very envious of your willpower :A
Spent £1.20 on tea and chocolate today - it's been a pretty long day, had my audition and found out a couple of hours later I have a recall on Saturday - fingers crossed! Script editing and working out were my other things to do today, they're both done so I'm going to just relax tonight with a bowl of Lucky Charms - why do they not sell them over here anymore???2019 Aim: Save £10,000
Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now0 -
NSD 3rd in a row :j
Flying Fresian - ya to 4 & I think 5 is something to do with quintuples
anyway - love the idea of having budgeteer as an occupation - would you mind if I did too ....
*runs off to update quick before FF can say NO*

NSD for me, although I have agreed to go out on Saturday night, to an expensive bar
I don't drink so I will be on the diet coke, but I'm scared how expensive it'll be! 0 -

If you're going with friends, try and get a table and ask for a jug of water aswell. That way you can swap some diet cokes for water and it wont do your drinking pals and harm either

PP - What are you thinking of going to see? There are so many good films on right now!
ladymay I went to see The Wrestler and it was fab, very sad and tragic though. Makes me realise I never want to end up like that. I agree there are lots of things out to see. I have seen 4 films in the last 2 weeks and there are at least another 4 I want to see in the next couple. I am loving having a cinema card it means I can feel like I am going out but spend nothing or very little.
For me today I walked to and from work for 3rd day woohoo. I techinically spent £4.20  on ice-cream at the cinema (what do they make it from, gold?) but this was paid from £5 from boyf that he owed me I had forgotten about so I am thinking I can cheat a bit and call it a NSD as I haven't touched any of my budget.:p
I would like to try and make it a quadruple NSD tomorrow but we will see.
:T:T:T:T:T:T:T to my fellow budgeteers you are all doing so well.
Raychee hope you are not too lonely I don't like it when boyf is away for too long the flat seems very empty.
F_F, I bow down to your supreme NSD powers. If you make it a NS Week I think you should get the Queen Budgeteer crown. Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

My week started on Saturday as well remember, so technically I have had five already! :rotfl: Now you're told me I might get a crown I am more determined to stay spend-free
I did find this smiley when I was looking for one with a crown though
Looks a little too evil I think :rotfl:
PP - do you have the Cineworld Unlimited card? If so, there is something in the discounts forum - you can get a half-price meal at Zizzi (If there is one in Glasvegas) just be showing your pass Sunday-Thursday. They do yummy food too!
