  • (Hangs head in shame) I had a spend day today. I spent £1.50 putting cash on my card at work so I could get some breakfast as I discovered a lack of yogurt and milk this morning when I opened the fridge. I then bought a snack cheese bruscetta thingy for £1.29 on the way to uni as I was hank marvin.

So that is £2.79 in total making £11.19 this week

Well done on the various NSDs budgeteers. I agree the cold discourages spending which can only be a good thing.

F_F if you are on 6 NSDs I would assume that is a sextuple NSD (which sounds rude but I am sure it is not!)

Looks like you and Piquant might have to fight to the death for the budgeteer crown (made of pure plated gold and encrusted with diamonique and cubic zirconias)

Hi! Welcome! Yep, you've got it pretty much right, that's what I do anyway - if I have it on my purse I know exactly how much I've got left.

Everyone on this thread's lovely - just don't tell them I said that:p

Oh wow, I want it, I want it...the budgeteer crown, it'll look great upon my mad hair, I've gone beyond a mad hair day today! Think early Michael Jackson, crossed with the Lion King and the inside of a mattress....

  • Welcome sasadjenjen I have added you to the list. You are now officially a budgeteer.

Piquant I think we have similar hair, I like to think of mine more like a birds nest or like the beard of Mr Twit (for any Roald Dahl children). Oh well at least I know I will never go bald.

Ok for a lovely sunny (ok you know I am lying there) Friday in Glasvegas. I am going to buy lunch out today as a treat for being good this week. I might go to the cinema again tonight if my friend is free. Probably to see Rachel Gets Married if it is still on. I will try and aviod the ice-cream after Wednesday but there might be a spend or two if I do go.

    Happy Friday everyone.:j

  • I keep failing in resisting buying energy drinks so that was another 74p today. Still under budget and looking to stay that way. Off to London tomorrow with Friends but Dad is paying for that as says I need a break and a day off saving so hopefully will stay under budget, or may spend whats left in london.

NSD yesterday so still on £8.90 out of £15. Gourmet Burger Kitchen tonight though so that'll probably wipe it out. Ah well.

Piquant and PP - big crazy hair rocks!! I have big red wavy hair and I love it - apart from when I'm trying to brush it :p I always get old dears coming up to me telling their granddaughter has my colouring but she dyes it etc.

I know it's not going to be a NSD today - going round a friend's tonight for more line-learning (when will they finally stick??), wine and takeaway will be needed methinks!

I'm really tempted next week to aim for a NSW - I want a crown:rolleyes:
