Well it's the start of my new week today. Spent £5 on a yummy (but very bad for you :D) takeaway, so £10.20 spent out of £20. Technically I could have put most of that on my entertainment budget, but I might be having a big blow out tonight so wanted to save that for tonight.

Can you please put me down for £15 please PP? I want to go for lower, but I'm at rehearsals alot next week and may not want to cook a lot :p

Well done to all those NSDs!!!!!!:T:A:beer::A:T

I'm not starting my challenge today as I will be spending last weeks money on a haircut and a trip to [strike]the wilderness[/strike] Fife to see my friend.

    Tomorrow is another week though!

Please put me down for £20 next week pp
  • Please put me down for £10.

  • Hi All

Kinda blew it yesterday, not exactly sure how much I spent, but I have £3.45 left in my purse. Was very naughty and didn't take any lunch to work yesterday, so had to buy lunch and also had a coffee with a mate. Was nice to catch up tho!

So, for next week, I'm going to aim for £8.45....that's the £3.45 left in my purse, plus a fiver that I'll draw out of the bank today.

Don't think I've done too badly really, just wanted to do better! ;)

Very impressed with the postings on here this week tho - F-F, wish I could be as disciplined/resourceful as you :D , guess I'll just have to try harder!

PP - please put me down for £8.45 next week.

I've been browsing this thread for a while now and would like to join in if i may. I have no idea how much i spend on a weekly basis, i normally pay by switch (only keep track of my food spends) but i know i can cut back more elsewhere. I think i'll try £30 for next week please, i'm taking ds to a birthday party tomoro and i know i need to pick up some milk and fruit too.
    Thanks

Hoorah. Out of my £50 budget I have £30 left - but I'm reserving £10 of it for petrol. So I've £20 left for my savings. The other £20 went toward my hotel room for June (that's all paid for now) so I've not really spent anything.

Next week I'm declaring £10 only. Most of which will be spent on Sunday (today) as I'm off for lunch and to to piccys.

PP - glad you said Benjamin Button wasn't as good as the media have made it out to be. I hope there's something else decent on. I have a feeling my friends want to see He's Just Not That Into You. Not my kind of film, but hey it's a girly day out.

Anyway, I'll look for the new thread and post my budget for next week on there.

    xx
    Looking forward to the future.

    Morning all!

I've been in work since 6am and up since 5.15am

Don't know if I'm being a bit slow, but do we have a new thread for this week?

Hope you're all enjoying a nice Sunday lie-in!

Gosh, I thought I'd got up early for a Sunday at 8am.

I've not noticed a new thread yet. But I'm sure there'll be one soon today.

I'm dreading going out today. I hope it warms up a little as it's sub zero temps here.

    Keep warm everyone x
    Looking forward to the future.
  • Pointypenguin, thank you for adding me to this week's challenge. I flippin need it after the money I spent yesterday. Unfortunately, I had to go to town with the kids and it seems nigh on impossible to NOT spend money if I go out with them, esp my daughter, so two joggy bottoms, one pair of pumps, one pair of trainers, all very much needed and still a bargain at £20 all in! That's me spent up for the month. All set for my weekly spend challenge, with enough food for packed lunches and the like I should manage to stay within budget.
Not massively in debt, but possibly heading there!
