Piquant and PP - big crazy hair rocks!! I have big red wavy hair and I love it - apart from when I'm trying to brush it
I always get old dears coming up to me telling their granddaughter has my colouring but she dyes it etc.
I know it's not going to be a NSD today - going round a friend's tonight for more line-learning (when will they finally stick??), wine and takeaway will be needed methinks!
I'm really tempted next week to aim for a NSW - I want a crown:rolleyes:
Mine's just mad, no chance of baldness, fairly sure I have two hairs for everyone elses one! It is all over the place today! Oh well, at least it's clean

NSD #7 in the Weekly Spend Challenge for me.
It has been difficult, and I really wanted a cuppa today (In the end my pal bought me one because I was willing to go out in the cold and she wasn't, so free tea for me!)
So, w00t, I have all of my £30 left, which means I will not feel guilty about my haircut tomorrow. Hurrah!0 -
I was good and didnt give in to the chocolate!! So a nsd for me aswell!!

Got my nephews bday party tomorrow (if we can get out of our street!!) and because ive been snowed in most of the week havent got him a present yet so will have to on the way and also we are staying there so will prob mean a take away!!! (but they will be out of a different budget...)
Have a good weekend everyone.GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
I'm new to this thread and MSE. Hope you don't mind if I join in with the Weekly Spend Challenge. This week I will set my spend challenge at £15, problem I have is that Im a smoker so I spend £2.50 by default anyway. Am trying set my mind frame to giving up so in the not too distant future I may have some NSD. Presuming that if I have £15 in my purse then that's what I have to spend - yes?Not massively in debt, but possibly heading there!0

I've gone beyond a mad hair day today! Think early Michael Jackson, crossed with the Lion King and the inside of a mattress....
Hey, you stole my hair
:rotfl:
Oh yes totally forgot : I did my grocery shopping today but still have the £5, cant possibly count it as a NSD though ... it wasnt all groceries
.
I'm going to aim for £5 again next week too0 -

Maccababe :Dwelcome I have added you to list. We usually start again on Sunday so feel free to carry on here and then join us on the new thread.
Today I spent £3.49 on lunch and £18 on dinner. Dinner was unplanned but I feel I have had a good week so I thought what the hell. It was a fab indian and usually expensive but we got the pre-theatre deal. I then went to the cinema but no spends there.
Benjamin Button was ok but very long (nearly 3 hours ). Worth going to see but not as good as I expected but then I have seen some good films in the last few weeks so it had a lot to live up to.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Friday.
I am away tomorrow until Sunday afternoon so keep posting on here fellow budgeteers and I will set up the new thread on Sunday.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

End of the week and my first spend out of my weekly challenge money:o. I spent £4.89 on nail stuff (I used to spend £25 every 3 weeks getting my nails done so whilst not essential for some it feels like it to me).
Therefore end of the week total spend £4.89/£15.
I'll go for £15 again next week please PP.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
