Ok first post has been update with pledges. Welcome any newbies and also other regulars.:j
Pips mum congrats on the baby, what is he called?
Ladymay I think it must be the adrenaline at the gym, people are a bit hyped up that is why they go a bit crazy. That is why I am scared of the gym but know I need to start going again especially as I get it free at work so I have no excuse really. Either that or I am going to start walking to work just need to get up earlier and not worry about the weather, just need to accept it is Glasgow and it rains here (most of the time)
Piquant you must tell us your secret how do you manage not to spend a penny? You must be very disciplined.
wit40iwtwan it makes a lot more sense now. People's usernames always fascinate me.
Ok for me today I went to my friend's for dinner and that was free but I was a lazy mare and decided to get a taxi home as couldn't be bothered to wait for the bus so that is £8.40:eek: damn the roadworks. Oh well £21.60 for the rest of the week that should easily be manageable.
I just found this smilie and think it is cute plus pirates are cool.

Hmmmm had a spendy today

£2.95 on a new thermos type thing & £1 on parking
The good news is I still have a fiver so either I must have miscounted or an extra squidlet has found it's way into my purselet
never mind, I'm happy either way
Onwards my fellow Budgeteers
