Hi all, it's freeeezing cold here! :snow_laug No snow though.
Sophiesmum, you really deserve a lie in being up till that time. How do you cope with so little sleep? And still be so cheerful?
Andan - keep busy and stay happy
So today I aim to
:j get OH take DS3 to rugby - he doesn't feel the cold which is a good job because it is brass monkeys outside ( what does brass monkeys mean ?) but I think even a northern lass like me might find it a bit chilly today.
:j cook luscious and lovely Sunday lunch which is meal planned and ready to go
:j will try bagpuss' sponge pudding recipe if I can find it
:j sort DS1s clothes to see if anything can be passed down to DS2 who seems sadly only to possess Liverpool FC football tops which have seen better days.
:j plan what veggies to plant in garden, used to have an allotment but couldn't keep up with it as it was a bit of a trek. Growing things in the garden should mean we can keep on top of them, and I think veggies look lovely. Will make sure we have a few flowers too. Sadly I don't have green fingers but do keep persevering.
:jcheck online banking and dream of payday
:j find a pot to put £2 coin in. I got one yesterday and thought I'd try to keep it . They don't often fall into my purse so won't save much this way. Mind you since I've been DFWing I have hardly anything for sealed pot as I try not to spend anything to get change from:rotfl:

Morning guys, I have just caught up with the thread from yesterday as I didnt manage to post, love this new style, good thinking SM!
Yorkshire belle, I am the same when it comes to growing plants /veggies, I have a large garden so have [strike]bribed[/strike] come to an agreement with my nan that i'll buy the seeds and she can grow them and we split the goodies! Win win!
I didnt manage much yesterday, worked 5 hrs o/time and took my own brekkie in, then went to the theatre with friends (budgeted for, plus drinks) so it was quite a cheap night.
Today we have to go and do some shopping, dont fancy it as its so cold but we are forcast heavy snow Monday night so perhaps its best to go while we can just incase.
Also today- List items on ebay
- OH cooking sunday lunch ( already got everything in)
-Give flat a good clean..with stardrops obviously
- Sort out budget for Feb
Thats all I can think of for now, have a good day everyone xLiving as simply as we can
