  • Damn, am gutted. Found an old credit card statement (NOv 08) that offered a BT for 13.94% on an account I hadn't used for ages. Rang them up and asked to transfer balance from evil Lloyds card -they said yes and all seemed well. Right at the end he said, oh, your account has expired! That was the first thing I asked, was it still open - derr. So he said I'll just close the account then.

So that's that idea out the window!!

Is the £100 for a wing mirror? If so I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago and I bought a used mirror off ebay for £25 and a local mechanic fixed it on for £2.

My partner bought a wing mirror off ebay for his car too and it was much cheaper. Its annoying it happened in the first place though, so, poor you tallie.

Lilian, great news on the £150 cheque off O2, good for you.

SM, yes not sure how you can cope with that amount of sleep, but if it works for you great. I try and get eight hours sleep a night, my body needs it, plus i just love to dream!!

Hey everyone- took quite some time to read through this thread! So far I have had a NS Weekend, mostly due to overindulging on Friday night. On the plus side, I don't think I'll be looking at a bottle of wine for a while so that may turn out to be Moneysaving in the long run.:o

So sorry about your car tallie, it's very sad that you are seriously out of pocket just so someone else could have a mindless thrill.

    1) NS WE
    2) Scratchies 10p 20p and 20p (£8.40 in January)
    3) Online survey worth approx £5
    4)Store cupboard food
    5) Washing at 30 and dried on airer
    6) Cut coupons worth about £6 from free newspaper

Am hoping for snow later, it seems to be in air. Would be great if it happened, but it's a very rare sight this far south.

BTW sans - I think you probably hold the record for Herbal Essences, I only have about 10 bottles. You must have very big cupboards!
