SM, yes not sure how you can cope with that amount of sleep, but if it works for you great. I try and get eight hours sleep a night, my body needs it, plus i just love to dream!!
I average about 4 hours a night most days - my DS2 is seriously hyperactive/autistic so just got in habit of having very little sleep when he was a littlie - he is 21 now and still only sleeps 3 - 4 hours a day.
On the plus side you can be very productive when you have 20 hours a day to get stuff done:D0 -
hello
well yesterday was very tired so had nice long lie in, cleared patio of my collection of teraccotta pots, log edging, victorian pavers etc in preperation for builder tomorrow (if he turns up - snow forecast!). then had a lovely long shower to defrost myself. oh treated us to a curry and we watched a film. so not very dfw but felt really relaxed
today i was up really early
- had kippers for brekkie - yummy!
- sorted stuff to go to mums (we swap books, magazines and bogof's if we get any)
- went to mums so got free lunch and lots of swaps :T
- went to supermarket on way home and shamelessly stood by while stuff was reduced! got chicken, bacon, duck, ham, broccoli, fresh pies and eggs all reduced
- dinner will be from my reduced selection
- oh has tidied kitchen a bit so will finish that
- got another film to watch tonight
my funny thing of the weekend is to do with the cats... lodger uses a plastic box to put his washing in. he moved the cat litter tray and left his (thankfully) empty box in its place. this morning there was a cat poo in the corner of it :rotfl: :rotfl:
tallie - i phoned round all the parts suppliers last time my wing mirror went missing - found a great local guy who ordered it for me and then fitted it for me. have to admit that i only have an N reg corsa so not electic or colour coded so it was only £25. just an idea - if you are worried about police stopping you for not having a wing mirror why don't you phone them and report the damage - then you will have a crime ref number and if you get stopped you can explain that you are waiting for the part. this may 'buy' you a bit of time to source a cheaper one...
just wondering what everyone calls their car? fay calls the vw darwin, i call my corsa vincent - what about everyone else?
not completely read through the thread yet - so hugs to anyone having a bad time and general hello's to everyone else :A
love to all
loki xit's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -

Sans ta for the advice re the no 7 stuff - funny she rang up half of it, took off my voucher then rang up the rest - dunno why I didn't get the gift - I nearly asked saying 'My friend Sophie got a gift when she spent this much....' will be brave and do it on monday
Spendaholic chick - sorry to hear that.
Us today - well didn't strat too well the youngling had been snipping at each ohter
so much I lost the plot banned everything and demanded they came out for a walk with me whilst I promised (quite loudly) to bang their heads together if they didn't stop fighting.
After alot of fresh air and a lng long long walk in the freezing arctic wind, they seemed to get along ok, or might have been hypothermic - eitherways they were quiet!!
Parked up the darwin beast and had a feast of reduced noodles, reduced cuppa soups and yeah reduced rice cakes!!

Aah, you are one of those many parents i get to chat to who have an amazing night time routine due to their children's needs:D Actually what amazes me most about the parents i talk to though is that they are really tired and want the sleep but get into their routine, but their children seem to cope fine on little or no sleepRather curious to know why that is now, however i must get back to writing reports on the language groups i run, so the parents actually know what it is i am doing with their children:rotfl:
Princess loki, my car does not have a name, she is just a 'she', don't like to give things names, just a gender! when i was little and used to play imaginary games with my sisters' and we all had imanginery boyfriends!! My name in the games used to be 'girl'!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hiya
Scratch cards are on the St Miniver bingo websites eg Littlewoods, Butlins etc. You get a daily free one as long as you have a balance, so depoist £10, play for a guaranteed 10p, then withdraw your £10. You can average about £10 a month. There is also one on Take a Break but I've never been able to figure that one out!
At the moment I am making the famous £5 Indian meal (although cheaper as not making the koftas, chutneys or ice cream!) and waiting for Ebay things to finish in an hour - £77 at the moment although have to recoup £12 from that for packaging materials.
Also today I have made banana and apple flapjacks for work for the next 2 weeks, a draught excluder for the front door (used to just throw down a towel!) and some multi grain bread. BF says I am the true domestic goddess lolxx

Thanks lilian 1977, I've been wondering about scratch cards for ages. I try to avoid the bingo websites. I know you can make good money on them if done properly but I never feel comfortable with them. I'll stick to my surveys and NSDs.
The banana apple flapjacks sound yummy! I made HM bread and blueberry muffins this weekend, as well as pasta sauce for later in the week.:DDebt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32

Hello again !
Well done on the win SM, sure it will be used wisely!
Sans, this must be the biggest box of Ready Brek ever or you've got millions of open boxes!
Bagpuss, made your microwave sponge pudding for the DSs today and they waffled it down , thanks for the recipe
Tallie, pants about the wing mirror, has happened to me too. Mine still held on with gaffa tape though!
Fay, you are making me excited about my veg plot. Am imagining marvellous veg laden plants and foliage as I look out of my kitchen window. Will have to solve cat poo problem though - not ours the rest of the neighbourhoods! Have tried bottles of water, 'lion poo' - what else can I try?
Quidco have said they've paid me ( hurray for Christmas shopping through Quidco) but not appeared yet, will look again tomorrow.
Have a nice evening and a good start to the week tomorrow
Belle
xGetting there...slowly!
