DC's journey to become debt free and saving for wedding

Well everything went good today. The reception was lovely and we went ahead and booked it. Total for 50 guests and 80 at evening party came to £2300. I think this is pretty good as we are getting a wedding package which includes tea and biscuits for guests on arrival, 5 course meal, evening buffet and honeymoon suite. It now seems offical that we are going to get married.Mortgage: £59709.77 (26/08/17) Now £58683.93 MFD Nov 2033Current OP Savings £3952.68.

Hey Debt Cruncher!
I have got back into comping recently using any spare time to plug away at the competitions on the board, and there are loads of wedding-related ones. Maybe you could try this - you could win something fabulous! Even if it's no use for your wedding you could Ebay any winnings (My plan unless I win a mahoosive telly!)

I am not sure about the dress because it is a winter wedding I would like something to cover my arms cause I am always feeling the cold and I don't want to have arms with goose bumps lol.
I will have a look cause everthing related to weddings is so expensive.flying_fresian wrote: »Hey Debt Cruncher!

i always fancied a winter wedding so i could wear a velvet wedding dress - how daft was that. In the end we had the most perfect day possible in September, but i was insistent on sleeve even then, but that's cos i hate my arms0

Did you have a dress with sleeves or did you wear a jacket? I have looked at so many dresses on the internet and I can't seem to find one I like.Lemon_Tree wrote: »i always fancied a winter wedding so i could wear a velvet wedding dress - how daft was that.
