900 Mins @ 0.15 A Min = £135.00 A Month Or £26.25 On Flext Thats Why We Use Contract Phones
not a fair comparison - as it assumes you use all the time in the first five minutes a day which would take 180 days

    More realistic comparison is £60 pounds (30 mins a day 5@15p, 25@5p =£2 therefore £60 a month)

It is more expensive - but only if you use the minutes- and the charges at the top of the thread are much higher

I suspect the average user is much better on Virgin monthly- only exception is folk with no home phone
  • Is the tarriff you mention available for new customers? The only details I can see on their website are 12 or 18 month contracts, with a call charge of 35 pence per minute cross network.

see here Richard - it is their PYG tariff but you can opt to get a bill if you register and are creditworthy . It used to be monthly - now quarterly.

So order a sim - bang it in your phone and register - Ithink its a great deal - but then I don't do 900 minutes

15p for the first 5 mins
    5p after that

But it says "Calls to other UK networks - 35p per minute" on the link you have provided?

where is info on this friends and family scheme you refer to on T Mobile?

The Family and Friends Scheme is only open to T-Mobile UK employees and, well, family and firends of T-mob employees.

I'm on the scheme as I used to work for T-Mobile.

If I remember correctly, it's 50% discount on line rental for life, provided you pay by DD and never miss a payment.

Each T-mobile employee gets 15 connections on the scheme, so they can let themselves ans 14 other friends/family take advantage of it.

I bought the flextech offer on the link. I thought it said £14.99 for 18 months on a 18th month contract but now it says £14.99 for 12 months on 18 mth contract. Have I cocked it up or has it changed? Cheers

Flext is currently being offered on an 18 month however 3rd oarty stores sometimes can provide different offers therefore its advised you check you contract or call customer services (150) option (0) to confirm your minimum term.

    hope this answers your question
