    Are you going in via the North of Ireland? Otherwise don't you need the passport to get into Ireland? Just realised.

    I think you only have to show some other form of ID if from the UK and not a passport. My drivers liscence was fine last time I flew to Dublin. But always worth checking with whom you are flying over with.

    She should just refuse to go inside the house and tell the dad, if he doesnt give it to you, you will call the police.

    Im guessing by her saying she going to Ireland, then she aint going on holiday with the current girlfriend? and just over to see her?
