Feeling So Low!

Ok my thoughts on this is that first of all you are not a failure. you had a lovely trip planned and it really is through no fault of your own that you cant get the passport back.
Would it perhaps be possible to go and get your passport from ex gf dad and take someone else along with you? Less likely to get a barrage of abuse if someone else is there.
When all is said and done though if your new relationship is meant to be it will survive things such as what is going on now. Communication is the key. Be honest with your gf and tell her that you feel you have let her down.
Hope everything works out for you
L xoxoxIts hard to wait around for that something you know may never happen, but its harder to give up when you know its everything you ever wanted.........

his main ex has his passport. He booked a holiday for his present gf and himself, but main ex is keeping passport unless he picks it up and by sounds of it alot of abuse with it. I think his gf lives in Ireland and has said come over and have a holiday here, but got me confused as he called her his ex..

I felt sorry for you in your first post, but quite frankly get off your !!!! and sort yourself out.
You have absolutely no problem except you being whiny and feeling sorry for yourself.0 -

Think you picked it up like me. Think he called his girlfriend his ex because he now says they should split up because he feels a failure.

Ring your local police station, tell them your situation and that you will be facing alot of abuse when you try and get the passport from your ex gf dad and what do they suggest. tell them you have a holiday booked for sunday.
They might even go and get it for you, or at least go meet you there, its worth ago phonecall isnt it before giving up, prove to yourself you are not a failure ring them, or maybe your gf would do it for you if you dont like talking on the phone.♥♥♥Life is too short to wake up with regrets ♥ So love the people who treat you right. ♥ Forget about the one’s who don’t ♥ Believe everything happens for a reason ♥ If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands ♥ If it changes your life, let it ♥ Nobody said life would be easy, they just promise it would be worth it ♥0 -
The passport thing is complicated, her Dad has it and they keep saying I'm free to go and get it but for a barrage of abuse and feeling worthless, it's not worth it. My ex is in Ireland, and I'm in Newcastle so it's pretty hard to just do normal stuff, hence the holiday. She's said to just go over and we'd do nothing for a few days, but I'm not really up for that. I'd just be reminded everyday of what an idiot I was!
call the police, passport theft is a crime. demanding that you go to Ireland to collect it is tantamount to theft! why can't she post it to you?
altenatively, get the train down to London and get a passport issued the same day.
i can't believe you are walking away from your new relationship because of this - something that is not your fault? your new GF said she doesn't want to lose you over this, so maybe you are using it to walk away and the pasport isn't really the issue?0 -

Lost passports do take longer to replace because of security checks i believe ( so i was told when i thought mine was lost )
I have heard of someone who got over this because they had kept hold of their previous out of date passport , so dont know if you have this .0 -
the fact is the op doesnt need another passport, he has one the ex gf has it. The new gf lives in Ireland not the ex, if I am following it right, but considers her a ex as he thinks they should split up because of this situation..All he has to do is ring the police and by end of tonight he will have his passport.♥♥♥Life is too short to wake up with regrets ♥ So love the people who treat you right. ♥ Forget about the one’s who don’t ♥ Believe everything happens for a reason ♥ If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands ♥ If it changes your life, let it ♥ Nobody said life would be easy, they just promise it would be worth it ♥0
