    Welcome Travel lady and TurnaroundSue:hello:

Ooooh Lilian, Fame is my karaoke song! "Baby look at me and tell me what you see..."!

Lily - Glad council tax got sorted in the end and Tallie - no freebies as such other than a load of leaflets last night but they did have two stalls advertising chocolate fountains! And of course it would have been rude not to have tried them out (four times!)

  • Hi - me again, have also noted since sorting out paperwork that I am getting charge £1.26 pm to have my talk talk bills sent through the post - so have gone online and asked for online account management - another bit to add to the pot (not much I know, but it all helps!)
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

talliedebtbuster - Graze boxes are ok for free but I definitely wouldn't pay for them. Yesterday I got some chopped grapefruit (that had gone off in the post), some cashews (tiny tub) and some mixed fruit (50g). It's good for free but then just use the idea and buy big bags of things in Supermarkets!

Morning All :hello: I fancied warm and cosy socks today (It's very frosty) so I'm wearing a pair of fluffy purple ones I got on Virgin Atlantic last time :o

    HI EVeryone

    Happy Birthday Sans.

Greetings from Egypt. Managed to get some wireless access so haven't needed to pay for internet access. I've managed to do loads of haggling and have really enjoyed it. I have been good and not bought too much as I am close to my limit. I also applied my MSE skills for booking my hot air balloon ride. The tour company quoted £135 (sterling) for a couple. I managed to find a local agent and got it for about £80 (sterling). Woo hoo.

We're having a great time - no need for socks here. Except I did need some for our hot air balloon ride this morning where BF proposed!!!!!!!!!! I, of course, said yes! :j I've been busting to tell people but we have decided to wait until we get back to tell our friends. We've already told my family and will call his family soon. Bless him, he is so exhausted that he is fast asleep. Must have been all of that nervous energy. :rotfl:

So here I am with a very silly grin on my face waiting for him to get up so that we can go and lie by the pool. :D

I'm going to have to do a major review of finances and goals when I come back. I look forward to seeing you all then.

    Lots of love
    urg x x

    Huge Congratulations urg:j :j :j

    Hi Guys,
I just rang council tax about the court summons they sent me, and they said I still had to pay the £50 summons fee even though I was waiting for benefit!
The lady spoke to her supervisor who said I was still liable, I started to cry :o
Then I ask if I could speak to the supervisor, was put on hold, same lady came back on saying the supervisor was busy but she will waiver the summons fee :j

    Lilly X

Nice lady:D :D Hope some good Karma comes her way for that:D

  • he he he to converting socks well done

sue - wow well done to you as well

Ferry situation - there isnt any cos its toooooooooooooooo windy - i don't much like boats but then again as I have to take one to get on the mainland with the car - I guess that's a bit unfortunate......

I have a confession to make

I noticed on the way for lunch somthing purply and strange under the corner of my jeans

When i got up at 6.30 I pulled on my jeans (after i had a wash i hasten to add) over my purple tartan pj's.

Looks like after doing the lodgers brekkie in a rush - i mean who eats at 6.45????? that i got on with the rest of my day but forgot to go and change my pj's bottoms under my jeans.

Its so cold in my office I didn't notice. he he he

You can tell I live on my own can't you - what a lemon!!!!

Walks out of thread quickly shaking her head.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

    I tidied/de-cluttered my drawers :o

As for Graze boxes, jolly useful to get one (with cashback :D ) and then copy them. But I found that I ate huge bags of nuts in front of the TV, and then had nothing for the week. :o
