Morning All :hello: I fancied warm and cosy socks today (It's very frosty) so I'm wearing a pair of fluffy purple ones I got on Virgin Atlantic last time
"sock action" :rotfl:

So today I have/will

• did on-line banking and updated my signature - got so excited, ran out of time and haven't brought in lunch. Will have to make an excuse to pop home or join in the Chinese at lunchtime decisions decisions
• make a meal plan & shopping list
• scratch'n'click (got 10p :rotfl: )

Can't (well; have given up planning at the mo) plan my garden it is SO wet this year, rice seems to be the only solution.

I'm very cross with myself. My cashback card paid me £25.68 last month so I calculated what was outstanding and reduced it by the £25.68 because I want to use my air miles card this year. However I miscalculated and underpaid by 10p. The interest was £9.85 :eek: :eek: (you pay on the whole balance up until it's paid. :mad: ) I'm going to shred that card!

- Enter postal comps

- [strike]Watch walle with dd[/strike]
- List a few items on e bay or amazon
- [strike]Check how stuff on e bay is doing[/strike]
- [STRIKE]Do a load of washing[/STRIKE]
- [strike]Tidy the computer area![/strike]
- [strike]Wrap dd's birthday pressies![/strike]
- [strike]pay cheques into the bank[/strike]

Hey - an early post for me today but I haven't been able to post for the last couple of evenings, so I'm getting on the PC while OH is in the shower! I just wanted to say how pleased I am that I made it to payday yesterday within my means, and didn't use my CC once! Rather unheard of for me, so thanks - I'm sure posting on here has really helped me keep on top of my spending.:A
I also put as much as I could afford to my debts, although not as much as I'd like as I had to pay a balance transfer fee, but that will save me money in the long run.

I shall post later with the DFW things I manage today.

Things today:

2 scratchies - 2 x 10p, and 2 £1 log in bonuses (mine and OHs)
Checked banking - no movement
Go to Sainsburys and pick up pizza for Fridaynightpizzanight - and transfer 4000 Nectar points to the gift card while I'm there.
HM stew and flapjack, fruit from fruit bowl/free Graze box

Forgot to bring my Bookmooch books in today but will send them out tomorrow.

Wet socks cause of leaking shoes But remembered I bought a new 5 pack in Primark for making sock monkeys yesterday and left bag at work, so have changed into the most boring pair (brown with pink toes) - one less monkey but two warm feet!

I bought a latte on the way to work for £1.20 and that's been it so far! Will be ironing and cleaning tonight and continuing with transferring some old videos to DVD and doing little else!
Will place a Calvin Klein jacket onto Ebay - it just doesn't fit me and would be better served getting me a few pounds rather than hanging in my wardrobe;
Will clean the inside of the car myself rather than paying £1 at the local garage;
Will check Pigsback later.

First lot of amazon payments came through this morning. That will be money going towards a young persons railcard :T

Since joining MSE back in August I really have started to appreciate little treats alot more!

Happy Birthday Sans.

Greetings from Egypt. Managed to get some wireless access so haven't needed to pay for internet access. I've managed to do loads of haggling and have really enjoyed it. I have been good and not bought too much as I am close to my limit. I also applied my MSE skills for booking my hot air balloon ride. The tour company quoted £135 (sterling) for a couple. I managed to find a local agent and got it for about £80 (sterling). Woo hoo.

We're having a great time - no need for socks here. Except I did need some for our hot air balloon ride this morning where BF proposed!!!!!!!!!! I, of course, said yes! :j I've been busting to tell people but we have decided to wait until we get back to tell our friends. We've already told my family and will call his family soon. Bless him, he is so exhausted that he is fast asleep. Must have been all of that nervous energy. :rotfl:

So here I am with a very silly grin on my face waiting for him to get up so that we can go and lie by the pool.

I'm going to have to do a major review of finances and goals when I come back. I look forward to seeing you all then.
