But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Happy Birthday Sans!!!!:bdaycake:
Fayjmck Sorting seeds and gardening thingummys sounds good. I have very small garden and only managed to get round to doing tatties in pots last year. Hopefully do more this year!
So here's my plans for today:
* Speech therapy group this morning so free snacks for little one!:D
* Free lunch - cousin going back to NZ tomorrow and wants to buy me, little one and my Mum lunch before he goes. Going to miss him !:sad:
* Get cousins Skype address before he goes...so we can chat via webcams for free once he gets back home!
* Save on nappies later as am starting potty training...might cost me more in washing detergent though :rotfl:
* Washing at 30'c
* Do ironing that didn't get round to / couldn't be bothered with yesterday
* Storecupboard tea
Thats about it so far.......cow print socks for me today! Ah....we take shoes off in speech therapy group to play games ....perhaps ought to put sensible ones on.....nah!! Give everyone a laugh!
have good fridays all!!

Morning all!
Today:
* 1 wash at 30 degrees
* made packed lunch for OH - despite Friday being his 'treat day' but did give him some cash for a can of drink
* made pack up for myself - rice and veggies
* Check online banking, pay Virgin card and check on eBay / Paypal total - if £300+ then transfer to bank
* put loose change from purse / off unit in bedroom into Louie the Savings Pig
That's it really. Going 'home' for weekend to visit parents, so no major spends other than petrol and if we pop to the big Tesco whilst there, probably £10 on top up shop to bring back with us x
PS: purple socks with white stars on today0 -
