    I am old enough to remember paying 14 point something percent on my mortgage....way back in the early nineties.

    So 5x income mortgage added to paying off more than 1/8 value of house annually interest only remember - no wonder people posted keys through the door of the building society.;)

    Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.

    THEY HAVE PEOPLE WHO CAN COME AND VISIT YOU..

    We used them for our conveyancing (because they offered us a discount for police officers so worked out cheaper) As far as I am aware they specialise in occupational claims (eg coal miners etc) but were excellent with our conveyancing.
