    Hi all..

Builder's been to measure up and is dropping off door catalogues next week. Hurrah, might be getting somewhere! He keeps asking if I want to see brochures for boilers - err.. no! I've just told him to do what he usually does - he's a property developer and has put in seven or so new boilers.. I'll let him pick as long as it kicks out hot water when I want a bath!!

Just got back from Morrisons. Took OH to do the fetching and carrying for all the heavy stuff we needed. I got a box of four iced ring doughnuts.. and appear to have eaten three of them in one go without really noticing!! :o I think I best have lots of fruit later to make up for it!

Mexican chicken wraps with red onion and green peppers for tea :D

It's trying to snow here but can't seem to manage a proper effort :( Think I'll do like Glamazon and close the curtains and hope for the best! :)

Still snowing here... Might have to send hubby to the shop for creme eggs... Seeing as everyone else is having them :p

Was thinking that but couldn't go to another real shop today, after Mothercare, babies r us and boots was bad enough with 20 questions at the check out about joining reward schemes, opening accounts and no I don't want my receipt in the bag
Anyway, we hardly bought anything - just had a look around.

Does anyone know a good place to buy a couple of cot mattresses and which do we get? Foam or spring, spring is best I guess as it's cot beds that we have  Was wondering if anywhere has quidco?

    Hi guys

Havent been on for a while have been so busy and have been ill all week with a really bad water infection and now i really need some advice and you guys are the best for dishing that out.
I went for a scan over 2 weeks ago when i though i was 7 weeks preg and when they did the scan they measured the sac and it was only measuring 5 wks and 3 days so they said it was still to early to see anything.
So i went back today and i should be 9 weeks tomorrow but when i went they could only find a sac and there was nothing in it now it was a private scan that i went for. They kept asking me if i had my dates right which i think i do my LMP was dec 1st,they said i should go to my docs in the morning as they dont think this pregnancy is continuing and im so confused i feel pregnant and the sac is so much bigger than when i went 2 weeks ago but i know there was nothing in there it was empty.
Im not sure how i find out if there is an early pregnancy place by me or at my local hospital does anyone know how i find out??
Am so sad but dont want to get my hopes up that all will still be ok you know??:(

Sorry to hear that lisabell, if you ring the Dr in the morning and explain everything, they will refer you to the Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital. ((Hugs))
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Ooh - i've just come on looking for Caz news - she MUST be here by now!

Did someone try and message her on facebook a few days ago??

I'm 39w tomorrow - as my first two were here by now, i have a feeling this one will hang on in there as long as possible!

If she knows how cold it is out here - i don't blame her!! She's taking after OH, who works on a different time zone to the rest of us! If we need to be anywhere, I have learnt to tell OH that we have to be there half an hour before we really do - that way we have a chance of being on time.

And, if i've worked it out right, and i need to be induced, it'll be in half term week - which isn't ideal!!!

Yeah i sent in proper wageslips bus had to send them in for 2 employers cos i couldnt find 2 of the wageslips from this job and didnt want to faff about getting them to do replacements or letters, i hate asking people for things :o

See, I just hope the accounts bloke does me a proper letter, which outlines my gross pay for each of the 13 weeks AND the weeks (dates) that they cover.

If not, I'll have to wait until he does one and because I don't personally see or speak to him, it's hard to get across what it is exactly I need.

Damn my work for not being with the times and having proper wageslips!

I'm pleased that yours was easy enough to deal with - keep your fingers crossed me for please hun that mine will be easy too lol! xxx

  • Hi I'm a newbie on here, but have just been reading through thread so thought I would post

Just found out I am expecting 1st baby, think about 7 weeks on.

Has anyone used the new clearblue preg tests which estimate how far you are?

Thought I'd ask as not sure how these work?
