I see lots of you are thinking of/or have bought already the IKEA cots. Has anyone actually used them with another baby though? I'm a bit wary of them as I bought a wooden highchair from IKEA for DD2, which looked fine and sturdy, but which literally collapsed like matchsticks after about 6 months use. Are the cots and changing tables more hardwearing? I wouldn't fancy my little one being able to remove the struts from the cot and escape in the night...

My little boy has been in an Ikea cot for over a year and its very sturdy. We paid £79 for the Lunsvig (sp?) one and its perfectlly fine.

I'm confused. You're not due till tomorrow? So why so worried? If you are 40 weeks tomorrow you could go another two weeks couldn;t you? Or am I getting this all wrong?

I have 2 weeks to go skinty and if that turns out to be a month I will go mad!!

I am already talking to my little boy trying to tempt him into making an appearance!!

I will be v unhappy (not to mention uncomfortable) if I go over.

ETA - they will only let you go 10 days over here - 12 if you beg and plead not to be induced.

    Oh OK! I get it!

I'm (currently) big on not being induced so I've been reading about people who go on until 44 or even 45 weeks  and I am not even expecting Bubba to arrive until 41 weeks as this is my first.

But I can see how you get bored - I'm quite fed up already!!
