Ouch tiamai_d that sounds horrid... I feel like I've been sat doing nothing for months and then decided to run the london marathon really quickly. Gone home and had a bad nights sleep and woken up with my legs and lower back and hips totally ceased up and incredibly painful
and I know it's gonna get worse too
Is it really wrong of me to wish that Roo arrives 4 weeks early?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Not 100% sure myself today to be honest... I ache all over now grrrrr.... The drive isn't too bad if I can do it in one hit but I need loads of loo breaks these days and it makes it take aaaaages...
So long old days...
To be honest MrsT, im leaving asap.....i think i'll be 24/25 weeks....taking holiday before i start ML....I know some people will think its early but im getting tired ( or havent not been tired) this is number 3, having pain with carpel tunnel and hips and im not enjoying my job at the moment....we can manage on OH wages so im just going to try to look after us all for a bit before bump arrives xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
Hi gals:hello:
DD went to the midwife at her docs again today, and they measured her fundus small again and couldn't find a heartbeat, so we had to go back to hosp again for heartbeat trace n scan, and luckily she's fine and is weighing 5lb 2 at 34 weeks:j
She has now transferred her ante natal care back to the hosp, as it's the 2nd time in 2 weeks that she's had this!!
Hope you're all ok:)"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

mmmm we can't manage on OHs wages sadly - I have other means of income that count as self employed that can help me top things up thankfully but it's just annoying me that work are being so difficult. But today proves that driving 360 odd miles is not something I can do (well it proves it to me...) and going forward it's only going to get worse
the drive to work is about an hour each way and driving in tuesday and sitting in there all day was so painful I was honestly thinking of quitting when they had a go about not being in the office enough and needing to be in when not on site... It was a rubbish day and that was the icing on the cake - been trying to get a hold of my boss today but seems she's ignoring my calls and mails now. Have a meeting with HR and boss tomorrow so will see what happens - if they decide to have a go then I'm calling the doctor and getting signed off sick. At least that way I get full pay for about 4 weeks - then half pay before they stick me on maternity leave (which I think they can do at 4 weeks before my EDD right?) - I wonder if I can use my annual leave between when my full pay sick leave ends and maternity starts? hmmmmm I have about 16 - 17 days to take...

Ohh Elle, you must have had a scare! Glad you are ok, no damage done and from now on you will be a little more cautious. We all should be there is a national grit shortage and I know that here they are only gritting main roads! We have all been advised to assume that no road has been gritted.
Mrs. Tine sounds like you need a good bath too. Lots of bubbles (I like boots spa), fake wine and a good book is my fave way of enjoying it.
Angela, with the longer ML now, is it 9 months? I would be going asap and resting, preparing and having family fun before bubs is born.0 -

With DS2 I went to see a lawyer. The place I worked just got a new manager from another store and he arrived when I was on holiday. I came back and announced that I was pregnant. He started calling me pregnant polly, especially infront of customers, even though I told them I didn't want people knowing yet (had to tell work as there was heavy lifting and risk to pregnant women involved). He then began trying to cut my hours, leaving rota lying around, trying to say it was just to try something out (they have a computer to do that). Tried to change my shifts, even though I had been doing them for a year and hired on that basis, tried to say that the person who hired me had no right to offer special shifts to me...
Anyway, I grabbed as much evidence as I could (stole a damn rota), got witnesses to vouch for me (she had left because of him anyway) and was told by the lawyer that I could quit and claim unfair dismissal as he had made the working enviroment so bad that I could not stay. It didn't go that far luckily, but I found that calling my lawyer in the staff room when he tried to sack me for being signed off sick worked a treat0 -

You can take your whole of your annual leave before you start ML....we have to...no choice, or you loose it. Thats why im going early....Hoping to have the full year off but will really have to return to work otherwise we will only just exsist in the long term andnot be allowed any little treats....
I know they can automatically put you on ML if you're sick within 4 weeks of the EDD...not sure about taking your holidays in between but maybe you could take them now then go on sick, if that makes sense??DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -

Hmmmm wonder if they will do something monumentally stupid that will guarantee that they might agree to a settlement so I never have to go back? That would be nice... It just annoys me that ultimately I want to work! I don't want to rattle around my house for the next 2-3 months waiting for Roo to make an appearance... *sigh*
