I had to put my foot down for mine. Fortunately I was massive early on so they did the scans from 34wks onwards, but they took baby out at 38wks, when I measured more than 44wks (.....!.....) and the little chappie was only 9lb 3oz, one of my lighter ones!

Never mind - at least you will get the scan tomorrow and will know more then. Or you will be so cross tonight you will be busy having him. Especially if he has calmed down and moving less - could be getting ready??

Best of luck with scan and birth - whichever comes first!
  • Oh hun I know how you feel as I was exactly the same
The good news is they gave me a date for induction during the scan at the hospital

For weeks I have been asking for a growth scan.
Now im 2 days overdue, had to go to hospital due to lack of movement.
And Im measuring 43 cm (weeks)
Im not a big girl by anymeans so its not due to that :p

So now at 40 + 3 weeks (tomorrow) I have to go for a growth scan.

WHY COULD MY MW JUST NOT LISTEN TO MY INSTINCTS

    *rant over*

    That feels better :rotfl: :rotfl:
Maybe because she thought your worries were unfounded as she probably hears it 100 times a week and cant arrange a scan for everyone.
If you were very worried though you could have organised a scan yourself.

because your last baby was 9lb 8oz she's therefore expecting this baby to be between 9 and 10lb and for you to be measuring a few weeks ahead.

    I'm here...

Need to go and put dinner in the oven though... Discovered we had no potatoes last night so didn't bother getting any meat out... We're having chicken pie and curly fries...

Hubby's upstairs finishing wallpaper stripping... I'm in agony with my pelvis again after over exertion yesterday... I feel all seized up everytime I have to get off the sofa... 6 months today... 14 weeks left (give or take 2 obviously....) Time is really starting to drag now...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
