Afternnon peeps.
Well I know what has been wrong with me, DS must have given me the bug he had, I've had D&V all weekend, luckily havent been sick since last night, but man I was ill!
I could barely do anything yesterday I felt so weak.
So it also means I cant go visit my Nan for a few days, which has !!!!!! me off, DS cant go either as she's in a room on her own and you have to wear aprons and gloves, and kids are not allowed at all, he's gutted.
Should hopefully get my SSMG in the next week or so, so I need to source a list for the hospital bag and make sure everything has got, plus any other items for bubs I need, oh joy!
You wouldnt think i'd already done it once!
BTW does anyone know what the limit on having C sections are? I'm scared that If Bubs is still breech and I have to have a section it's going to limit the amount of babies I can have, I want 4:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Awww AM, hope you feel better soon.
FIL is in hospital, and we can't visit at the moment, so I've written him a couple of letters. Would that be an option? You could send them in with another visitor who can read them to her perhaps? It isn't as good as visiting, I know, but might fill the gap till you are allowed back.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
For the foreseeable future, the contents of my bump will remain Bellyfrog.
That's fab :T :rotfl: :rotfl: :T
We have used Bubba as a name since we found out I was pregnant and everyone uses it! Hubby was only saying yesterday that he will be sad to stop using it because it was the first name we had for our son!
Elle - hadn't thought of the M&S connection but that won't put me off a name - my initials are now SS and that it much worse!! Unless the initials spelled something rude I can't see a problem.
One of the reasons that we have been so quiet about telling people names that we are considering is because I don't want anyone to put me off a name...someone somewhere is going to object to every name but they would have to be a real idiot to tell you once you have your newborn baby in your arms
SB - just said to DSS
Me: 'what do you think of the name spike for your baby brother?'
DSS: 'it would be good if he had spikey hair'
Me: 'and what if he doesn't have spikey hair?'
DSS: 'then it would be a bit silly'
Out of the mouths of babes!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I like Fionn and Conor for boys. Niamh is gorgeous, but if you're not in Ireland will people know how to pronounce it?!
if i tell people how to pronounce it shouldnt be too much of a problem. there are some shocking irish names that are impossible to spell as well!!
i really want our child to have an irish name so they are aware of their irish heritage. i want them to be able to speak irish as well!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

We have a boy's name already (it's a family name) and a girl's name, but no middle names yet. And we're not telling anyone either name until the beastie's safely out because we have legitimate reasons for each name and don't want anyone finding it appropriate to pass negative judgements. For the foreseeable future, the contents of my bump will remain Bellyfrog.
I have a small but definite bump, and already people are finding it totally acceptable to manhandle it! One of my friends was really rough, as though it was a melon she was testing for ripeness! I grabbed her b00b and told her to stop or I'd touch her inappropriately. She did it again. I put my hand in her crotch.
Hopefully this will keep everyone away once word spreads!

AM I think the section thing depends on how your bits n bobs heal afterwards and would be a very subjective thing to you. I'm sure I've heard of people having 4 + sections but I think that is far from ideal for most
Jillie just please don't call ur bubba Eggnog if it's a boy0 -

Ah she sounds brilliant! There is something about Nan's isn't there? Mine is 90 now, and its like she has decided that now she is old, she can do/say whatever she wants!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
