Thanks MrsTine
It's very early days for us - just 4 weeks pregnant.
Vic
Ah super early thenDon't be surprised if the doctor is a let down - some take your word for you being pregnant - others insist on blood tests which take ages - none of them seem excited...
Try to take things easy for a wee while - I know I'm going to sound like a spoilsport but it's still VERY early and things might still go wrong sadly. Some of the ladies here have miscarried (that horrid swearword) so IF the worst should happen please come and speak to them - they are very nice and understanding.
I'm not going to say "don't get excited and tell anyone yet" because at 6 weeks I was telling the world... so hardly the right person to tell you - but unless your job is hazardous then at least avoid telling them till you're a bit further alongThey might guess anyway but I wouldn't let them know till 12 weeks for the time being...

tia - what size car seats are your ds's in? I am presuming they are 15kg+? do the have/need high backs or just the cushions? Will they still be in the same size seats around June time? Lots of questions :rotfl:sorry! I know from experience this is one of the hardest things with 3 (especially when they are all in the car seat stage) Last 2 cars were scenics to start with we had 1 in a birth-9kg seat, 1 in a 9kg+ car seat and 1 in a High back booster. This combo worked fine. The problem started when ds went into a high back booster and dd2 went into a 9kg+ seat. My point is have you tried fitting your ds's current seats with the carseat you would use for baby? (Just to point out the scenic doesn't actually have 3 full seats in the back - just 3 induvidual seats iykwim?) I will keep my eyes peeled I am sure I have seen some of the mums and dads at school with what look like tiny booster seats - will ask if I can spot who owns what.
[/quote]
I have a megane estate (back seats are the same as the sceinic I think) 3 back seat's (not full sized) with 3 belts (middle seat has a pull down tray). DS1 is just in a booster seat, so I could probably find a slim line one. DS2 is in a booster seat and back (he has hemiplegia so leans to one side when tired) and he will stay in that one as he sits nice in it. I haven't thought much about car seat's as I'm only 10/5 weeks, BUT, looking at the isofix ones, they won't fit. Or they will but there will be no room to get seat belts buckled!
Will take a trip up to the pram centre closer to 24 weeks as they will bring seats out to your car and try them.0 -

GRRRR.
My OH brought me an enormous bag of fresh lychees last night. I ate a couple and went to bed, just gone to get the bag and there are six of them rattling around in the bottom and a giant pile of lychee peels beside his computer.
I really, really wanted them, too. I'm going to have to eat oranges now instead and they won't be as good.
AND he's gone back to bed, but there's a pile of stuff to take to the recycling centre which closes at 3pm and I can't do any of the heavy lifting.
AND his stag party is tonight, which is no doubt why he's sleeping, to store it all up........ GRRRR. I had the most depressing hen night ever, I was completely sober because wine gives me heartburn, one friend turned up without her wedding ring with the announcement that she was moving into her mother's, another brought the news that a childhood friend of mine had died, and a third the news that someone I went to school with and stayed in loose Facebook touch with had been sent to prison for child pornography. And he gets beer and strippers. Damn it!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning ladies!
Haven't caught up on the thread sorry cos I needed to skip right to the end to ask you all a Q...
Something strange happened yesterday ~ I realised that I hadn't had heartburn all day (which is very odd, I always have it!) and I realised that I could breathe really easily (because I couldn't as everything was squashing my lungs), then I realised that the top of my tum (across where my bra would sit) was all spongey and not really hard like it had been.
I can feel pressure in lower tum and pelvis and when I had a wee last night, my bump was practially sitting on my lap!!
It feels like everything has shifted down.....it's wayyy to early for that isn't it?? I'm only 27 weeks today!
Has this happened to anyone else??
I'm not really sure, maybe it;s the baby lying in a different position or something.
My bump chnages all the time.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
SugarSpun, when are you due? (and when's the wedding?)
You need a baby shower - a happy cheerful no-bad-news-allowed one! - to make up for the hen night0
