    Sami,

on the pic you uploaded of the marlow dresser you had a little plastic container on the side with sudocream etc in it - can I be nosey and ask where you get something like that?

I have same dresser and it would be so handy!

hehe I considered putting a run down of all my accessories coz I knew someone would ask :D they are from ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70103207

  • Thanks for that I was told about the possibility of a c section at my 20wk scan because of this but they just said to book in at 34wks for another scan as my placenta was low. I wasn't advised about not having intercourse tho

Although we haven't done the deed since we found out :o

My notes say 'no penetrative sex' ~ maybe the Doc was having a bad day and decided to take it out on us  :rotfl:

I'll ask at my next scan in a fortnight though whether that still stands.

ok a bit late for this but I found THIS thread very helpful when I first joined as it has lots of info about how stuff works on the forum and come recommended by the lovely matin himself!!
HERE is the specific bit about putting pictures on :A

    morning all,

AM - sorry to hear that Aston still isn't well. take him to the hospital with you, i know when i had my GTT there were kids there with their mums and dads who were having it done. as a 'soon to be parent' i love seeing kids about.

the drink i had wasn't too bad to be honest (although they gave it to me at the hospital). i think i was expecting to to be really bad so was pleasently surprised.

i have my antenatal class on saturday. i am doing all day too 10 - 3. says to bring packed lunch as not provided. i am quite shy when i dont know people so am not looking forward to that side of it. want to learn things, but still scared.
He went in the end, he wasnt that bad and threw a paddy when i told him he werent going to school.
Drink was ok, too fizzy for my liking though.

Oh forgot to say, my Dad got us our baby monitor at the weekend.

It's the BT 150 and it's brilliant! It's Dect, so not analogue, which means it doesn't pick up ANY interference at all ~ it's crystal clear.

It's got a night light, has the temperature on it, can play lullabies which are already prgrammed into it, or you can record your own voice/songs onto it and even attatch it to an MP3 player.

It's 2 way too, which means you can speak through the parent handset and baby will hear you.

It's RRP is £69.99 but you can get it a little cheaper than that in some places. (I got ours from Arogs for £68 as they didn't have any left in Mothercare)

Hope that helps anyone who was wondering about monitors :)

Have you had your GTT today?

I've got mine the week after next. Steve wants to come with me because I've got a scan straight after it ~ will he be OK to come with me and is it boring because I read that you have to sit still for 2 hours  (is it worth us taking a book/magazine to pass the time?)

oh glad he was feeling well enough :D

my drink was 'flat'. different places must give you different drinks then. at least you dont have to spend the 2.5hours waiting at the hospital.

Labour vibes to all those over/due.
Big congrats on all the new babies.
After being told last week at mw app that baby was head down she's now not sure, so have got a scan today at 2pm to confirm which way round bump is, will be gutted if its breech as its now to late to turn it, and would need a c section.
Will post which way round when I return.
as for getting jiggy, doggy and me on top most comfortable.
Ooh god luck, My baby is breech but i'm only 29+2 so plenty of time for him to turn, although i wouldnt actually mind being told i have to have a c section, i dont wanna push a baby out :o :rotfl:
