  • I vote for a daily thread if poss. - or if really necessary a weekly one but I dont really like massive long threads and it can be off putting for newbies sometimes to join in something they feel has been going for a long time or if friendships are very obvious.

But - please do your own diary!!!

I know what you mean angelflower, I am sometimes too shy to join in on established threads. I try to use my diary as a tracking device, but I get terribly side-tracked. Because I will be paying back my debt for a very long time, I find it helpful to be able to see when I promised or delivered things!

I love the openess of this particular thread and how everyone is welcome, it would be horrible if this unique aspect disappeared.

Hmm have had my thinking cap on and have decided to compromise on the style of the thread;)
During the week when we are all hard at it grafting and posting lots I will carry on the daily dfw thread as normal:D , at the weekend when there are usually less posts because we are all out doing stuff I think we will have a weekend thread covering the two days:D ,that way I can have a lie in now and again on Sundays too without worrying about getting things started:p :p

I don't want to put off any new posters with a long thread as the more people we have posting the more varied and interesting it is:T

(and I need to keep a close eye on fay for signs of rampant food buying, excess charity shop sprees and wayward trips to the florists:rotfl: :rotfl: )
    Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Hi all

Well, today I have found out I've won 2 flights to Zurich from Manchester - taxes are not included though so will have to see if it's worth it :D

    Not much else:

    Checked banking, all fine
    Daily scratch - 10p and 20p
HM stew, HM flapjack, yoghurt, fruit from home etc for food
Going to cinema (Rachel Getting Married) tonight with free tickets from PT job

Inspired by you guys I have enquired at OU about building an open degree in Childhood and Psychology :) Will hopefully get a call in a few days to say how to go about starting it.
