But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking -
- update spreadsheets
- move money to savings
- storecupbpard lunch - tea out with friend for her birthday

I'm going looking at houses today  as I'm getting more than a bit fed up with the noise from downstairs. I like where I stay, but after 10 years in flats, I want a garden and absolutely no one else attached to any of my floors or walls annoying me with their flipping noise
If the deal is right, then the move could be on, if not, I won't, but if they can do adecent part-exchange for my place, and make sure that I'm no worse off per month than I am now, then.................................a decision to make. Could be an expensive day!
Other than that, my Mum is coming over to give a second opinion on the house, and I'm taking the car to get an estimate for the bumper repair.
On a positive note, my Mum will probably buy lunch!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
