Well i started my fandabbydosey new job back on 12th jan. excellent salary, car allowance you name it. worked there for ten days and then received a summons for everyone to go to a meeting that night. we were told that the exterior sales team was being done away with and we had a big discussion where the director then agreed it wouldn't be done away with just we'd all book our own appointments. fab, no worries
Next day received an e-mail circulated to all advising that we were now all terminated from the company and working for them on a self employed basis only. didn't know whether to laugh or cry to be honest. SO. they have agreed to fund us 50% of our submitted business each month as payment, however the leads that they are sending us are literally people that have done a search on the net and ticked yes to being contacted about life critical illness and unemployment cover, when we call them they understandably don't want to know as it is effectively cold calling. I never ever wanted to sit in my room cold calling people and feel completely screwed over. I should be out on the road discussing insurance with people that want me to be there. ALl the good leads have gone into the offices asthough they want to prove that the exterior sales force isn't going to work and we are just getting the crap. it has really upset me and at the moment i am looking at being paid £450 unless i get some business in and that will ruin me as it is.
    I should
ve known at the start of the year when this came up that it was too good to be true and that sort of luck never comes my way. i'm gutted and demotivated. i want to make it work but how can i without the custom there!!!!! sorry had to let all that out.
    cheers guys

Good afternoon everyone, I don't wish to detract from Pania at the moment, but last night I posted something about car leasing and I got a bit of a slating for it and rightly so too. Bunny thanks for the finger up the bum, it made me sit up and take notice and ZTD was absolutely spot on; thanks Z but although I'm not slipping back into debt, returning to my old ways does worry me, but I don't have the capacity in which to do that anyway. I was trying to weigh up the Pros and Cons of Car leasing vs 2nd hand car ownership. I think the way ahead is to budget sensibly and be very disciplined about it. Cheeoirs all x x
