He owes money on the car he is actualy in debt.
This gets better, your are an embaressment to mse and FTB's:o :rotfl:
you dont buy a bmw outright if you are clever, you use the halves and thirds rule so you dont fall into negative equity on it. also my company pays for most of it so its part financed since they pay me monthly, i have an M3. but im thinking of going back to a company car since it frees up more money and im starting to get more sensible about my spending these days.
im what you could say is a MSE but the money i save on things usualy gets spent another way. your only young once0 -
A car worth £10K and a £34K debt.
I think houses have fallen less than cars so best not buy when he does.
I just got an 07 Volvo s80 70% off new price. But I paid cash:money:
Personally I see cars as functional, last summer I bought a one year old Zafira for £8,500 from a car supermarket, which I am really pleased with. If I wanted to I could have bought a very good sports car for cash, but I just think although they look pretty they are a waste of money. A car to me is about getting from a to b, being relaible and big enough to get the dog, my wife and our bikes in, that's all.0 -

How's that decpreciation doing on your penis mobile?
Funny. Money doesn't equal sense. It just buys over priced items and rip off holidays.
Sounds like you are very materialistic and shallow, hence the BMW and stating it's value.
If you were a petrol head and a MSE'r, you'd be driving something which makes you look less of a !!!!!! with a big debt and no clue.
Really2: My father's done exactly the same thing with a Volvo this month. If I wanted to I could have bought a very good sports car for cash, but I just think although they look pretty they are a waste of money. I hear you.
I see it as a compromise. As such I drive a estate car day to day which has comfort and I have a weekend car which is possible to use for work but a PITA to drive in stop start and bad weather.0 -

I think your starting to spin some yarns again, so you dont even own the car but your paying 700 pound a month for it???

I agree but my mrs kept threatning to be sick in my last car so I had no choice.
Either that or not have the Mrs's in the car!!!! (hang on I have made a dreadfull mistake.:D )0 -
you have now given up on trying to dispute the original post and now try and pick holes in me? lol
its pretty sad dont you think?
just because you have a few little friends also trying you think its clever lol.
fact is that im young and im doing well and im living life how i like. im not tied to a mortgage which is dragging me down unlike most. i nearly did it this year but i worked out why i think its best to wait. so i posted and tried to help people also looking at the current market. alot of ftb do only have 10% and its hard for them to get to 25% especialy on homes worth 150k.
so maybe a few have benefited from my OP but you people just seek to try and destroy it.
well how sad is that0 -

I can understand it if you really like them, afterall you can't take it with you, so might as well spend it on what you really want (I just don't want one that much, although I can admire them from afar)0
