Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here [merged]

I know someone that does all their shopping online. Can I give them my clubcard so I get all the points?
If they were just walking into a shop it would be no issue at all.
Just wondering though if there would be a conflict with the addresses.
Hmmm.... that is a toughie... I would give them a ring. As you say, they let you use whoever's card in the shop so I can imagine they would allow it...
In the end - the effect is still same. It keeps customers happy and loyal.. whoever collects the points (as long as it is not commercial - ie selling on ebay)...0 -

that would depend on what reward you're looking for? Some rewards/deals DO NOT allow you to use other people's points/vouchers (all rewards have names on them).
I know that Drayton Manor DO allow you to do this so its worth emailling the dealer (ie: Drayton Manor in the above case) to double check0 -

So how do you think Tesco should ensure that vouchers that have someone else's name and address on aren't stolen?
They have to ensure, data protection.
So the only way, would probably be to link your friends cc to yours in a joint account - having first changed his address, to enable his vouchers to be used by you. But of course - you couldn't just do it, he or she would have to agree - on the 'phone.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

I don't think you can, if your friend already shops with tesco then they will have their own clubcard account set up, you don't actually put your clubcard details in when shopping it uses the one from the account
but they could shop from your address with your clubcard and use their payment card0 -
I suppose what I forgot to mention was that they don't have a clubcard & can't be bothered getting one.Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

I suppose steve, they could register your clubcard on their account for their shopping, but make sure the delivery address is obviously theirs. This way you get the points and they get their shopping.0

Oh yes they do have one!
If they shop on line, then when they didn't put a clubcard no in - the 'system' will make one up for them. Hence, they will get their points, even though they do not have a 'physical' card - they have instead a 'virtual' card purely for internet use.
If they have earned enough points, then they will get vouchers in the mailing. And if they want a physical card - to use the vouchers in-store only need to ring Clubcard.
Who knows perhaps they may want to use your vouchers!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

You were in a bad mood yesterday?? Snappy remarks on this and the other Tesco thread? It was just an innocent question the poster had.
I agree with you that the rewards have names on them... but I don't know how about you but I was never asked to prove that I am Mrs A at Pizza Express when I paid with vouchers...
The poster needs to tell us what rewards she/he has in mind.0 -
Just a quick reminder to anyone with OU vouchers that you need to register before 31st May or you will only be able to book level 1 courses.0
