All they have to do is scan the voucher on a clean till screen and then cash it off. Dead easy.

I ordered £220 of Nationwide deals vouchers on 29/4 to use when my car was being serviced on 8/5. Date came and went, no vouchers. Had plenty of others (days out, restaurant etc) but despite Tesco saying they could, Natinwide wouldn't accept.

Rang Tesco's to query, told to wait. Rang again on Monday and was told to fill in an indeminity form to say they had been lost and they would investigate and credit my account. On reading the form it says that if vouchers are used they will take the points from my account or withhold future mailings. I'm concerned as there is a good chance they could be used and very unfair to take them off me when received.

I am going to write a letter to send with the form and include my credit card receipt showing I did have to pay for my car service.

    Anyone been in this situation?

Edit - vouchers arrived today 20/5 - 3 weeks after ordering. Beware anyone who is ordering for a specific event - allow plenty of time!

I've been waiting patiently but, having logged onto 'my account' on the Tesco website, I've noticed that my points total will be going towards my August statement. I know I had about £19 worth coming to me.

Assume I'll have to ring Tesco and explain but do you think they'll be OK about sending me another set? It's the first time I've not received them.
It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?

I wouldn't panic just yet... I haven't received mine yet either, if you look on the bottom of a recent receipt it should tell you the latest date when you should receive it by, and it is normally round the end of May I think.

The 'August statement' refers to your 'current points', whereas the 'about £19 worth' is the previous points i.e. the May statement, which will have started to arrive from the 19th onwards. So you have awhile to wait before you can think 'you haven't rec'd them' (assuming your address details are correct). The re-issue time isn't until the middle of June!

  • Tesco have increased the price for the Merlin Annual Pass. It is now £40 instead of £37.50.
    Lovely...
  • Received my vouchers from my credit card yesterday. Quite unusual as my vouchers from my shopping clubcard normally come first. Basically, vouchers are on their way folks!

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but there is now an iphone/ipod touch app for your tesco clubcard so you can swipe it at the tills bith the barcode it puts on the screen, you can also check your tesco point online with it, used it this morning, best thing is it's free.
