First of all the easy one - fuel points - you get 1 point for every £2.00 you spend if you use a clubcard - what everway you pay for it. However, if you don't use an ordinary CC, but just use the credit card you will get 1 point for every £1.00 you spend - it will show that on the receipt.

I just filled up at my local Tesco (133.9 u/leaded). Unfortunately I had forgotten that you needed to spend £2 to get 1 point, my total was an odd number.

When I paid at the pump, it asked my for my Clubcard first, so I put in my Clubcard + which it accepted. Then the payment card, and I put in my Tesco CCard Credit Card. Is it too much to hope that it will be registered twice and I will get double points ?! (The receipt shows a single points).

When they said about the card not being 'registered' did they refer to the Credit Card or your ordinary clubcard!? Very unusual if the former. It usually relates to CC that don't have any name & address.
When you looked on-line was the card listed in 'view your cards'?Even if not you may have more than one account i.e. the transactions are elsewhere i.e. you'd get more than one statement.
Have you got any receipts that say 'you could have received xx clubcard points' = CC not working. Or have you got receipts where the total does not change using just that card = CC working but points not being processed.
Finally, does the CC no on the receipt relate to a card with your name on the front, or a key fob card - which may not relate to your name!!?
    HTH

I have been getting one point for every £2 even when I use my Tesco clubcard/credit card so it must be working as a clubcard to give me any points at at all.

My card is listed on the website.I only get one statement. My receipts never say "you could have received etc. it always shows points. I have just never bothered to check the amount as I always assumed it would be correct. As I say I have only noticed it now that each transaction is listed as a spreadsheet.

The clubcard number on the receipt is the same as the number on my credit card.

    It is all very strange!

Do you keep all your receipts and check them against the points received?

I have the Tesco credit card/ clubcard and also the Clubcard Plus.

No I have never checked the receipts as I had always assumed the system would be correct!! (Silly me eh???!!)

    I very much doubt it.

When Tesco first rang me about my problem they said that the SA has to put the credit card through as a clubcard before payment is taken anyway.

As you used your CC+ card as the Clubcard and then paid with you M/card- you got 1 point for every £2.00 you spent and your TPF points e.g. Fuel £55.00 (you said it was an odd figure) i.e. 27 CC pts + (55 / 4) 13 tpf points = 40. If you had paid with your CC+ card it would have been 27 CC + 55 TPF = 82. Or if you had just used your M/card it would've been 55 CC + 13 TPF = 68 !!

Sorry - it is probably me! I am a little confused. I paid with my Tesco Clubcard Mastercard. So that is how many points?

The bill was £87.01 (couldn't stop it in time!) and the receipt shows 43 points but no reference to TPF points.

Every time I get my points vouchers through the post they include a sheet of "extra points" offers to be used at tesco.com/groceries. I dont shop online and they used to send me the points off vouchers to be used instore. I have contacted them and they have said they will change it but they havent. Anybody else have this problem? and if so, what did you do?

You were right Aesop. Did just that. Many thanks.

log into your online account, there will be something about preferences for vouchers, change it to instore.

Yes, but earlier you said you gave first your clubcard - as a result you got 1 pt for £2.00 spent. Next time - just use credit card.

At some point you have opted for Ecoupons - you can opt out yourself on-line in MCA - Personal Preferences, otherwise CC should be able to help with that - but it won't be until the next mailing you'll know.
