Had a letter today about getting £15 off my Eon bill with £10 of reward vouchers - so only 50% up on the face value. It seems very convoluted - you get points with certain Eon products , this gives you Reward vouchers, you swap these for cash off your Eon product which means Eon has to recalculate your monthly direct debit and do a lot of admin. Whilst it is a saving, you can redeem the vouchers for more on other products, what do others think?
(offer only valid until august - so probably a trial by both sides to see if the consumer bites...)

Well if you get your gas/electricity with Eon you can already get Clubcard Points added to your Clubcard a/c so in that instance you can get +50% which you can put to your energy bill and not everyone pays by D/D but even if you do it needn't necessarily mean any change in your D/D amount and it's no problem for EON to alter the amount so I don't see what the problem is . If you want to use the vouchers for other things well do that .Nothing is compulsory .!!

Apologies if this has already been answered but I was losing the will to go on after the first few threads and as this one is at page 35 I haven't trawled through it all.

I ordered cinema vouchers a while ago just before the the points changed to getting less for your money. Anyway they ran out on 30th April and I still have 3 left as I forgot to check the dates on them until today - doh! The letter with them says to check the dates as they are not redeemable if they expire which is fair enough but I am wondering if it is worth phoning up and asking for new ones. I realise that would be totally chancing and it is all my own fault but wondered if anyone had any success with doing this or is it a no-goer.

I haven't heard of anyone getting converted tokens refunded. I chanced it when I found some a few weeks old, they were declined.
Put it down to experience & find a better place to store them ;)
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

Don't what ever you do transfer your gas and electricity to Eon if its clubcard points you want!!! Only the most expensive tariffs will give you points! You've been warned.

    A big big rip off!
