Still thinking of you - I hope Fiz comes home soon, I know the house seems so empty when they are not around x0

Ahh Fizz looks very fetching with the blue coat.
How old is he / she?
Our Dobe was an angel, he loved nothing more than to be cuddled, he was also very vocal and like to make his precense known! I know people look at them, give them a wide berth when passing as they think they are vicious, but I have never known a nasty Dobe and neither has my vet.
Thats what has made us decide we are getting another one! Off on holiday soon and then picking up the pup on our return. i work with the lady who breeds them and they have two left from this litter and the other female they have is due in 2 weeks so we managed to get a good deal as they panicked they would be left with loads of dogs (they have about 9 already!).
Really hope Fizz is ok, I am thinking about you XAim to win in 2013 - a holiday somewhere nice, New York break, treats for family & friends & some cash would be lovely!!!0 -
I love the pic of Fizz! Gorgeous doggy.
Got everything crossed for you both, and you're in my thoughts.0 -

Im off on holiday at end of week and keep thinking about this poor little mite!Aim to win in 2013 - a holiday somewhere nice, New York break, treats for family & friends & some cash would be lovely!!!0 -

Thanks for thinking of us everyone. Fizzy came home yesterday and Tiffany greeted her ecstatically much to my relief as she was enjoying being the only dog.
I asked if Fizz was being kicked out as they've reached the insurance limit and maybe there was nothing more they could do for her and the vet said no, although her bloods were still low they had come up and stabilised and she was well enough to be at home rather than there. Just got to go back for regular blood tests and keep giving her the tablets.
She was pleased to be home. She's a bit unsteady on her feet and has only attempted the stairs once, but was surprisingly quick when she took off after a cat in the garden, I don't know who was more surprised, her, me or the cat! I guess after 3 weeks bed rest anyone would be a bit shakey on their feet.
She's curled up at my feet now, on a beanbag and duvet, under a coat and wearing a jumper and leg warmers.
And any medical costs from now on are mine to pay. So make sure you have good insurance, you'll never know when you might need it.

Oh that is a relief. I think someone further back said that after the intial treatment the ongoing medication isnt that bad.
God bless her, hope she soon gets back to her old self.0 -
Great news OP, long may it continue!!0

Good news!!
I know it won't be cheap, but as she stabilises the blood tests won't need repeating so often. My vet said if we could get our Jas over the worst, the long term wasn't so bad. Unfortunately he wasn't young / strong enough to get over the worst.
So glad to hear about Fizzy :j .0
