  • just been on o/h barclays initial account.
last year they kept reducing her limit when she paid enough off.they also took her cash availability away.i know this has happened to a lot of people.
in the last few months she had 2 overlimits, she payed minimum, plus the recomended extra, and still went over limit.her fualt but a little underhand i think.
i got it back into credit.
this month they have stoped reducing limit and reinstated a full cash availability to maximum limit.
strange but bcard, initial and vanquis, incresed limit, have treated her this way latley.???????????????????????
any thoughts.???are the cc companys happier when were not claiming charges back,or instantly amending account problems???????????just a coincidence???????has here credit file improved and the monthly feeds affecting it????????

just logged on to her littlewoods direct.its 3 months old.they have doubled her limit to £2000.
her account has been at £710 owed from first day.she has only paid the minimum payments.
my littlewoods direct is a year old.it has simular limit.ive always spent and paid loads on it ,about 5k.
i regualy paid 75% of balance or all of it.it took me a lot longer to get that size increase, although not with others in the group.????????
    any thoughts????
running 2 accounts for most cats and credit cards, mine and hers,it is seeming in our case anyway, paying balances in full etc isnt always best route to higher limits etc.
there is one exception ,im ahead on grattans over her freemans??????
