    just checked abbey done soft search on equifax for id.nothing on experian.
    i thought all banks were experian and then perhaps follow with eq??

    I'm itching to apply for a HSBC current account again, but it will get referred as I still have a NOC on my credit file.

    the hsbc guy i see was a nice fella.like i said before he said recently they have tightened up even more.we ended up talking about halifax and he admitted hes sent his sisters there.
    they keep offering me account and loan.o/h banks there.they are generous but i dont want to bank there under martins dont bank where your loans and cards are advice.
    have you tried them??
