Do lenders see satisfied defaults as being better than normal defaults or are they just as bad as each other?0

Well done PROLIANT on the Ulster Bank card:j
I got my fourth statement from Vanquis today and they have raised my credit limit from £500 to 1K...not a bad increase really.Does not quite match the 5K I got from FlyBe
Think in about 6 mnths time I might try for Post Office or Virgin CC...may as well try for one with better APR.0 -
Evening everyone,
Congrats Mr P, that's great news. A nice mainstream product
Sutton, I have 2 defaults on my Equifax - both approx £4k each  But they're both settled and have been paid off. Def if they have been settled for over a year it looks so much better to the lender. I was told Abbey for example, viewed any adverse data over 12 months old as "historic"
Apparently my cases are coming at 20:30 tonight - I can't wait. It doesn't seem like I've been on hols if I can't see the stuff I bought lol0 -
Thanks Sammy for your answers.0
