    My personal banking is with HSBC. Nobody outside of HSBC would give me a credit card until now.

    That APR is excellent for Vanquis. My Dad has the same % rate but My Mum and Brother is higher.

    I thing that's a good rate personally. :)
  • I've just been accepted for the Aqua credit card which gives me a chance to repair the damage done to my credit rating.

    This is my first credit card, which I only bought as a way to "up my score". Does anyone have any tips to manage it effectively?

    I just rang up to ask them for news and they said I've been approved :)

  • Vanquis did say that were I to take a cash advance on the card the APR for the cash advance would be 41.02%

    What are their "typical" APR rates then?
