I have just looked at my on-line credit file with equifax and it's okay actually i was thinking it would be shocking but no it fine. Just 2 defaults and thats its 16 searches in the last 6 months. 7 previous.

I'm quite pleased actually.

No fraud markings even though i didn't think there would be any.

some time s your credit limit go off then comes back on

Thanks seeya, im so pi**ed off they did that i wanted to use this account to begin rebuilding my credit, i will wait till the item arrives and then check again to see if the limit has been reinstated.

most of time it come back on the same day

Hey everyone, I've read this thread quietly for a while but never posted. My finances were pretty screwed up for a loooooong while but I've been sorting it all out etc etc. Every few months I try applying for something just to see how the reparation is going :rolleyes: and usually get rejected apart from a catalogue and phone contrat. BUT, I just got an acceptance screen from Aqua (it came so fast I assumed it was a no and not even a referral :rotfl: ). Just wondered if anyone has any experience of them changing their minds before I congratulate myself on my repair job :rolleyes:

Well done - it can change month to me! So you never know in a few months - just be careful on the searches - as most of us has found to our cost...

So I applied for Aqua and Vanquis at the same time. I've had a credit agreement from Aqua which I signed and returned last week, I'm just awaiting the card now.

I still haven't heard anything from Vanquis (Applied on the 23rd January). I phoned them tonight and they said 'The credit checks are still being done, however it's looking good as you've been provisionally approved rather then provisionally checked'.

Hopefully I'll be accepted for Vanquis, as they seem better then Aqua, though I wasn't banking on having two credit cards when I couldn't get any at all last month.
