When in 2003 did they file the default as surely it is due to drop off this year

    november

I know its due to drop off this year but the reason am going about it cause i lost a court case for reclaiming charges cause they said i was oweing them £487 and they will take this off the amount of charges and i declined and went all the way for full payment and i lost cause of this default and them saying i owe them the money

Do you think if I keep on buying things and paying them off each month, that after 6 months say I would have a better chance with another cc?

Have you been using it each month?

All I have done is spent a maximum of £100 (on petrol, groceries etc) and paid it off imediately when the statement came as I put the money to one side

I have also read on the credit card forum people's limits have gone from £250-£500 then a massive raise to £1250 on there 9th payment. :D

dolally, where you based, I get my sixth statement from MBNA this month so will wait and see, did you pay the £100 deposit and if so do we get it back or do they credit it against the account.

I'm in Aberdeenshire, about 30 miles north of Aberdeen. The weather people always chart our temps as higher than they are for some bizarre reason. It is absolutely freezing here - our pipes for washing machine are heavily lagged and still frozen, brrr!

Not sure about the deposit, my statements just carry a comment along the lines of "the deposit is held separately and will be credited if you close the account" or something along those lines. I wish they had a statement date like cap one do - you know exactly where you are then!
  • hey dolally am from near inverness
