Time to ring BarclayCard and ask them what's happening about my appeal. I rang on Friday, but just got a 'Wait for a letter'. This time, I want answers. :D

i have now dradfted a letter to fos and sent a copy to the account closing team at rbs aswell thanks for your help

Unfortunately Wannabe, I would say there isn't much point complaining to the OFT as in your OH terms and conditions they can give you 30 days notice if they wish to end there relationship with you. They do not have to give you a reason either.

I think it would fall on deaf ears. It maybe worth while getting your OH to appeal to the bank direct.

I phoned Barclaycard, the guy said 'I can see your card details in front of me, the last four digits of the card are XXXX, your credit limit is £XXXX', I said 'Are you sure, I haven't even got the card or heard anything from you' he asked my name and address and said 'Oh sorry, I'm looking at the wrong account, it was a random account that was on my screen'.

He said theres nothing he can do to see what's happening with the application. I must wait for a letter. :(

    FlyBe/Sygma move quick!

No email, letter or confirmation -just a nice new card through the post today. Applied Friday 27 March and card received Monday 6 April.

    Got a £1500 limit. 16.9% APR

Very VERY pleased with that limit as I now no longer need to watch my bank and constantly topup my Capital One which has been stuck on a £600 limit for almost 9 years.

Ignored their 0871 to activate and used 0121 7126939. Got a very nice young lady with a thick British accent -lovely :D

Sorted, and thanks to the helpful people who've posted here :)

One thing, I'm being a bit dull, but how do you login (I have registered online for FlyBe) to see actual account transactions? I don't see it anywhere. Thanks.

I've just been very bad and applied for FlyBe. Got the 'We'll contact you in 7 days'. Does anyone know if I ring them now, they'll be able to tell if I was accepted/declined?

Now 13 searches in 12 months and 10 in the last 3 months, with Experian. I heard Flybe only search equifax?

You can try, but my guess is that your application required manual intervetion and Mr underwriter is going to take a peek;)
