Phoned both CapitalOne and BarclayCard today, as they would have had my appeal letters now.

CapitalOne said we've received your appeal letter, processed it and you're still unsuccessful.

BarclayCard said there's no way of us telling whether we've received the appeal letter or the outcome, so you'll have to wait for a letter from us.

Ugh. It's been 3 month since I applied for both CapitalOne and BarclayCard, so I believe you can apply every 3 months for BarclayCard and every 6 months for CapitalOne, so I might await the response from BarclayCard and if nothing soon, just reapply.



UGH - I just checked my credit report and CrapitalOne credit searched me AGAIN today. Now I have 13 searches. It seas 'Unrecorded Enquiry'. What does this mean?

Bad luck Effect.

'Unrecorded search' basically means that other lenders won't see it and only you can see it. So there is no need to worry.

Ah ok. I'm hoping BarclayCard will not disappoint. I wasn't too bothered about CapitalOne, and wont apply with them anymore.

Some people have been trying Tesco getting declined and then appealing.

Cif looks like he may of been successful in his appeal because they asked for 3 months bank statements.
