When I receive letters and statements from Ulster Bank there is always an RBS logo at the bottom of the page. With TPF, nothing.

I know for a fact that you are wrong.

Why do you think banks are slashing credit limits and removing O/D facilities?

Do you really think that if a bank new you were missing payments on your borrowing with other lenders that they would hesitate to call in your O/D?

Banks have a duty to protect shareholders money and knowledge is power, I can't belive you would be silly enough to suggest otherwise.

I thought this thread was about helping people in the sub prime?

How can we help people in the sub prime without giving them factual information.

If you read back through last nights posts what kind of message is being sent out to new visitors to this forum?

I agree with all points made.

Both banks and credit card companies regularly check CRA data, and their authority to do so is contained within the credit agreement and or application form, usually in a section titled 'how we use your information' (or something similar).

This thread has completely descended into an unrecognisable mess, what a shame.

If there are any new users or anyone requiring help or information don't hesitate to post you will get a serious reply from someone.

never-in-doubt: this application game really isn't funny and it certainly isn't clever it amazes me a grown man would act in such a manner.

I really hope this thread can one day get back on track.

funny, I was going to ask how old he is as he is acting in a rather infantile manner and seems to be googling questions getting answers and posting that as fact, rather than knowing how the industry works.

Has anyone else closed their £100 MBNA account?

I closed mine on the 10th March, was promised a cheque returning it within 7-10 days - then was told last week they'd credit it back to the MBNA account instead (by the 28th March) and this hasn't happened either.

I would either telephone them or write to them.

Are you swapping to another MBNA product or just closing it?

Got a reply from Tesco Personal Finance. They have asked for 3 months bank statements and, as I am not employed, two utility bills.

Ah, congratulation Cif, this looks very promising. It maybe because you run your Ulster one well.

    What do you think?

I'm watching Superbad on Sky Movies.

I'll wait to see the One o'clock News about the G20 Summit.
