They can decline you based on the information given in your application alone:

Number of cards you already have

Current card balances

Amount of time @ current address

etc etc

Why waist money on a credit search if they know you don't fit the required criteria.

I applied got accepted and then got declined by RBS! Why? Cos Natwest put a 6mth block on me! Look back a couple of pages - ive loaded the tesco acceptance screen so |I know for a fact that RBS issue tesco cards.

I know they have a licence but it takes months to sort out! Listen to me - its RBS that issue them!

Card services, southend on sea.

Any customers able to confirm your statement comes from that address?

Just so you know, when you apply for a Tesco CC it comes up as Tesco Personal Finance on Experian and nothing at all on Equifax. This is what happened to me anyway
