Have I missed the point - thanks for any advice.

Since then lots of increases apart from Jacamo which I haven't used yet.
Report to all 3 agencies so good for green zero's
Hi thanks for reply and sorry for delay in responding. I opened JD and got £125 limit, opened Jacamo and got same but limit firmly at 0 now never changed back to the original £125? Would I have to order goods in order to get the credit limit account back?

They issue a Visa with a £100 deposit. You will have to apply as normal and if reffered an underwriter may offer you this card.

I applied and got a NO. appealed and got another NO. My credit file is blank other than 3 live accounts and 10 searches.... never offered me jack! lol

Any idea how to get one?

    I'm fine.

How do you remove a default once you have paid it. I'm going to reapply for HSBC in 3 months but i need this bloody default removed.

    Hey sutton

It's worth writing to the company that placed the default and ask them to remove it.

I had a default issued by Shop Direct Financial Services (for a Choice catalogue) removed just by writing one letter!

It's definitely worth a go, they can only say no - and if they say yes it's a brilliant credit file boost.

P.S. Take a look at THIS website, I'm not recommending it or saying it works but it's another avenue to look at.
