are you on electoral roll and what does it say under years at address? If it says only one (assuming you updated last year) then this could be bad cos it may be that you're lying and Hunter will have a record of this and alert any possible lender. I cannot get aqua nor cap1 but do have a vanquis. I also have 2 gold cards (weird eh?)

i only moved here in october last year and am on the electoral role here but wasnt at either of my old addresses but also am not linked to the house i lived in 4 years ago. they do know how to confuse me, not that its hard :o

That's why. I'd be sorting out the electoral register first and dont apply until you have sorted this as you'll get a 99% decline rate.

Sorry but thats the reason right now - also if there is no link then that doesn't add up! You should be automatically linked the moment you apply for something as the lender would create a link...?

If not tell the CRA mate - sort this out so you can get credit.

Obviously, if you had debt at the linked address and are hiding from it deliberately then i'd not link to it LOL

I wasn't on the Electoral Roll when I applied. I still got accepted.

yea but did you have a link to prev addy? Think about it, he just appeared out the blue with a few months address history - it looks dodgy to be fair.

Exactly same as me though and when I got put on electoral roll it was easier to get my bank account and credit cards. prior to this I had an easycash - that was it.

can i still get added to the electoral role at my last address even though i dont live there anymore?

to be honest my credit history is bad at my mums address, when i moved out i decided not to apply for anything and to use the if i cant afford it then i dont need it thinking, that went ok but then we had a baby in december and i decided i should start getting my credit sorted so i can maybe buy a house in the next couple of years.
But when i applied for things they only asked for last 3 years of addresses so i dont think they could make the link. i've not really deliberatly tried to hide it but would rather they didnt see it lol.
when i started renting my first place they did a credit check because i had to show them a certificate to show a ccj as satisfied but that doesnt show on my credit file either:confused:

Yes I do have linked addresses. Natwest/Abbey linked my address when I moved, because I told them.

I told Jacamo my old address as well.
