    Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well. My arms hurt :(

But on a plus note I bought my credit "score" (i know, I know, but curiosity killed the cat) and it has gone up 30 points since November. And it moved from the Very Poor bracket to the Poor bracket lol

looking at other threads tha allthingsconsidered were on it looks like we had a troll in our midst

Noway was allthings a troll - that's daft comment to make to be honest.

she was well liked with thousands of posts - not troll-like behaviour.

  • Hi Sutton.
Yes three months flown by--it was only £ 400, so i will leave it until we get to the six months, then if nothing changes, call them.Handy card for petrol, and the odd bits in Tesco, and so simple to pay them online, credits within 3 days.
Hope you are well, and thanks again.
    Regards. Welcome

As it is coming up to the 6th statement for the MBNA £100 deposit visa, I decided to give them a call today to see what will happen.

The first lady went away and then told me that it is a flat rate card that won't change, and that the only way to get back the deposit is to cancel. I told her what it said on the letter but she was adamant that those were the rules.

Called back again and spoke to someone else, who at first said the same thing as the first woman, then told me that after making your 6th payment you have to call their credit department and apply for a new card to get the deposit one cancelled and refunded.

This doesn't sound right to me, and is definitely not is what we were lead to believe

Can you send (add on here) a link or details of this card you mention, never heard of that!! Thanks

I think you'll find a lot of people that disagree with you on other boards- particularly on DT. She only joined in Jan 2009 and was in the hundreds of posts - not thousands. She is one of these people who keep getting PPRd because she displays troll like behaviour by winding people up. Heck, you could be one of her/his AE...... I could be
  • Just phone Aqua to make a payment.

I was told ther was a "mangers special". Every £25 I pay they will credit £5 to my account. Never ever heared anyone ever offer that before!

I only had £20 in my account to cover the min payment!

Prompted by C8ndice I phoned MBNA and was told that the card will revert to a normal visa and will qualify for upcoming promotions and the £100 deposit will just be paid off the balance so will wait and see.
