Wait a few months. It's very possible your income has gone up within a month or two.

Are you going to be using the Plus features, so that the fee is worthwhile, or are you getting it as a 'Milestone' on getting a product?

I have various Current accounts. Barclays, Abbey and Natwest.

There seems to be good feedback from them.

Too be honset I like the look of the card.

My money does go up that much. I only get carers allowance and Income support.

Abbey are naff. Bloody Electron. Barclays I have Visa Debit. I don't mind Barclays actually, i just want a Cheque Guarantee card.
