Where are you flying to ? Some destinations are a lot pickier than others....and few airports have nothing edible to purchase on arrival.
Personally I'd pack something like that in checked luggage not hand baggage to avoid problems.

I was waiting in airport departures yesterday and I think I met the OP? I said was is your real name and she said "Mer".

I must say Mermaid my day.

As Mer left to go through passport control, she turned and gave a little wave.

I asked her to remember me trawler friends and she said she shawl-y would. Then she was gone!

i've checked it out, yes you can take tuna on a plane, but it'll cost you surcharge of Sick Squid.....
