Just logged on to update today's spends in Asda, can't believe how much I spent, didn't need a lot but what I needed was expensive like Olive Oil, Free Range eggs, nibbles for Friends coming over at the weekend etc etc, it all adds up.:o

Dinner tonight is a Pork Curry using leftover Pork from yesterday's Roast, OH will just have the Pork in Gravy as he doesn't eat Curry, shall bulk the Curry out with plenty of Veg.;)

    Have a good afternoon everyone.:D

Have only got £33 to left of gc budget, which WILL be enough to last us till end of the month. I'm determined to come in on budget this month.

  • Well an update this afternoon I was going to head over to Mr A's as they usually have fish reduced (2 cod loins for £2.78) for dd, they also still had the offer on Johnsons wipes 2x4pk for £9 (if I use anything else her bottom gets so sore) so bought another 2 packs, kelloggs shreddies were 2 (500g) for £2 (usual tesco ones are £1.30 each!) so spent £25 there!!!

I also had to pop to mr t's for some bits that oh forgot (is that possible if you've seen my rant before!!!) and they had £4 off 12 cans of Guinness so bought those (not GC budget though!) and spent £35.25!

HELP!!!! I'm so overbudget it's unreal!

I've noticed I do a lot of stockpiling so with reluctance I am going to have an annual budget I think Mrs M can you put me down for £2800 for the year. Ta!

Managed a nsd today, kids are eating some really scrummy sausages that I got whoopsied ages ago (posh sausages with some sort of cheese too yum) with mash and peas and we are on leftovers from yesterdays moussaka that went down well (the recipe on the first page) only trouble was, dh didn't quite cook the spuds enough so some were a bit hard, but hopefully today it will be even nicer....

my challenge this week is to try to manage as many nsd's as possible, I am hoping not to need to go shopping till Friday as I do have quite a lot in already, have taken a chicken out of the freezer for us all tomorrow and am going to have it with sweet potato wedges (they are on offer at MrS and I got them on my delivery last week - only remembered them today and am determined to use them and not waste them)....and then I think leftover chicken for Wednesday, probably a pie....

Good luck all for this week

Good Evening everyone, just popped in to update spends...

Went to our local Home & Bargains

For anyone that is interested they are selling 1kg bags of granulated sugar for 69p.
My local Mr T was selling it for 93 p:eek:
I know its only 24p diffence but every little helps...
    Spent a total of £4.17

£4 in morrisons and £29.76 in boots but only £9.76 counts in GC as the rest was spent on top ups.

    Signature updated..
