    Can anyone help me?
I am looking at buying my other half an MP3 player and am looking at the Ipod video so she/we can store pictures on it aswell and also play back video's etc instead of the basic music mp3 player.
Now i watched the Gadget show on Monday and they compared the models and said that the Creative Zen Vision M is a good rival to the Ipod Video 30gb.

Which is the best one to go for if indeed i do buy one for her over the next 2 days?
The show said the Vision M had a better more crisp screen but is a bit more expensive(i think after discounts works out about £20?) that the ipod. The M also holds more pictures etc.

Also another question it doesn't mention on any of them that it supports AVI files but the Vision M does say somewhere i read that it converts most formats using some onboard thingy bob.
Now would both of them play my AVI video files and how are they transferred from the HD to the player?

    Thanks

Just got £50 off the Creative Zen Vision M (using the 10% offer and codes), plus 999 points!
I went for the Zen and not the Ipod after reading many reviews and seeing the TV on Monday. The ipod looks and feels great but the limited types of files it plays or the time it takes to recode them was too messy for me. The screen is better, has a slighly longer battery life, has a mains charger (no usb charging), radio and recorder. Not bad for £199. I hpe that this is useful to you Dalkirst

Jess_Skaterdude the discount code bit goes in on the first page of the ordering process. I must admit I missed it the first time I looked. it says Promotional Code or something like that in red
